Church of St Giovanni Battista

The church is built on the site of an ancient oratory and has a nave, two side-chapels and a bell-tower, a sacristy and a priest’s house, all dating from the late 16C.

The church adopted its present appearance with a nave and two side-aisles in the 18C, when the width and length of the church were considerably extended. In the 19C, a flight of steps was added to the front of the church. In 1920-21, the interior was completely decorated by Ettore Pizzini. It contains some paintings by Giovanni Cadioli (18C).
