Church of St Pietro and Paolo

The 18C parish church, formerly that of the Olivetan monks, is unusually preceded by a prothyrum.

Inside are 15C frescoes and the facade features the funeral monument of Ilario Fortunati, its first parish priest and a 19C Latin scholar who bequeathed it a library of 3,000 books. The furnishings are significant, primarily for a St Anthony of Padua and Angel by Giuseppe Bazzani but also a 15C frescoed wall, a Mysteries of the Rosary, a 17C wooden choir and fine altars.
