Church of the Assunzione di Maria

This beautiful IX century church stands on the top of a hill, surrounded by cypresses.
The walls are made of Roman and Medieval bricks, pebbles, stones and crocks. Three apses with pilasters and the bell tower compose the back of the church.
Inside, you can  see remains of Gothic frescoes and a marble statue of Our Lady of Mercy.
