Massimbona Water Mill

This consists in granite mills, the first two dating from 1150 and the other, still operational, from the years of Michelangelo.

Set in a strategic location - also appreciated by the Romans and which they called maxime bona or the best point to cross the River Mincio - this spot has always been a ford on the route between Verona and Cremona. Now cleaned, it is possible to admire the remarkable Gonzaga stone dam.
