Church of St. Egidio

The first reference to a church named after St Egidio appears in a deed dated 1151. The old Romanesque building that bore this name was, however, radically altered in 1527.

Further interventions in 1717 and again in 1721 erased all traces of the 12C church. The fine and interesting picture gallery inside is testimony to the magnificence of the old parish church.
