Church of St. Leonardo, Mantua

This is one of the first churches founded in Mantua.
They rebuilt it five times, and present structure was built in 1795. Only the XII century bell tower and the oratory terracotta stringcourse remain from previous renovations.
Inside, in San Gottardo oratory, you may see a fresco by Lorenzo Costa the Elder, depicting four prophets under the Crucified Christ shedding his Blood from his wounds.
