Parish church, St. Barnabas' day 11 June.
The church façade has been a model for several renovated churches in Mantua during XVIII century. It gives onto a small square touching via Chiassi and via Poma, and it may be considered one of the widest churches in Mantua. The façade, completed in 1737, was planned by Antonio Bibiena; it completes the church renovation by Moscatelli Battaglia and Giovanni Maria Borsotto (1716-1736).
The church was built on the orders of the Servite Order, who was here from XIV century (see cloister and monastery) to 1797. Today's winter chapel lays where the ancient chapter house and monastery sacristy stood; they recently found XVI century frescoed decorations.
The chapel hosts an early XVI century altar piece possibly by Bonsignori, depicting Our Lady with the Child.
