Former Bozzolo synagogue today is a private house, and the Holy Ark is now in Israel.
Jewish pawnbrokers settled in Bozzolo in 1630, fleeing from the Sack of Mantua.
In XVIII century, Bozzolo community was small but flowering; they also had a kosher butcher's, which was still working in early XX century.
Some 20 years ago they sold the synagogue building, which is now a private house. Just outside the village, near a car breaker, you can see the few remains in ruins of the Jewish cemetery.
