The facade of the parish church, constructed between 1749 and 1751, is divided by four Tuscan pilasters and crowned with a triangular pediment. The bell-tower terminates with a polygonal spire added in the 1930s. The gabled interior with two side chapels ends in a polygonal domed apse. A fire in the last century impacted on the internal space. The side chapels, composite pilasters and cornice stem from the original structure whereas the clerestory above, divided by Tuscan pilasters, and flat wooden roof date from the early 20C. The apse contains a painting dating from the second half of the 18C depicting the martyrdom of St John and St Paul. St John, beheaded, lies on the ground to the right. St Paul stands in the centre of the canvas, about to be beheaded by an assassin drawing his sword, to the left. The scene is set in an imaginary Rome, depicted in the background with classical architecture.
