Marmirolo civic theatre

After the splendour of the Gonzagas associated with the family’s country palace, theatrical performances are said to have been held in the town hall. When it was demolished in 1925, a new building was designed by Equilio Francesco Malerba.

The theatre opened in 1930 and became a venue for a variety of activities. After restoration work carried out in the 1980s, the theatre became fully operational again.
