This dates from the late 17C-early 18C and was the scene of episodes linked to the Risorgimento battle of Curtatone and Montanara on 29 May 1848.
Originally a Gonzaga villa, it is a single construction that develops lengthwise and features rooms with well-conserved and extremely beautiful frescoes and decorations. The building is entered through a majestic 18C doorway with a central coat-of-arms. From 1800 to 1860, Palazzo Cavalcabò served as the town hall of Curtatone.
