Church of St Pietro in Coelorio

The parish church is dedicated to St Peter the Apostle. According to the chronicles of Ricciardi and Mangini, construction was commenced at the instruction of St Orsino, bishop of Brescia, around the year 250. The fine wooden crucifix by Piantavigna commissioned by the Asola community for its cathedral-church has been in the church of the Barchi since 1854.
