Church of St. Tommaso Apostolo

This parish church, built by Davide Terzani di Laino in 1768-1785, features outstanding architecture and an elegant selection of artistic stuccowork.

The carved walnut choir was brought from the demolished church of San Domenico in Mantua; the portion assigned to this church consists in panels depicting saints of the Dominican Order and has a cimasa.

The palatine basilica of Santa Barbara in Mantua conserves the other panels. The bell-tower stands apart from the church and was erected by Paolo Pozzo in 1798.
