Corte Cascina Stella

An enclosed courtyard with entrance and watch tower above. In the main hall, under the wooden ceiling, there is a painted frieze the pictoric sequence of which runs coherently among the brackets and depicts figures taken from the “Metamorphosis of Ovid”. The many analogies with  Palazzo GiardinoinSabbionetalead us to believe that the farmhouse was used as a hunting lodge and place of  entertainment of Duke Vespasiano Gonzaga.
