Ring of walls

The walls enclose on four sides Rivarolo Fuori (now belonging to Mantua). The walls were built between 1580 and 1590 together with the redesigning of the tower requested by Vespasiano Gonzaga. The crenellated doors are an integral part of the walls. Originally there were four, of which only three remain. Parma Gate and Mantua Gate were renovated at the beginning of the year 2000 and currently house local associations.
