Monastery Corpo di Cristo

Founded in or around 1420 by Paola Malatesta, the pious bride of Marchese Gianfrancesco Gonzaga, this Poor Clare monastery acquired great substance during the Franciscan reform. The large structures deteriorated after the suppression but the main cloister was recently renovated; admire the fine Gothic design of the facade and right side of the church.
