Church of St Sylvester I pope

This parish church has a nave with three chapels per side and restrained stucco decoration.

On the intermediary walls, in stucco frames, is a single cycle of 18C paintings of Stories from the New Testament: The Wedding at Cana, The Cleansing of the Temple, The Washing of the Feet, Jesus and the Woman Taken in Adultery and The Last Supper.

St Sylvester, after whom the church was named, is portrayed in the vault of the apse in the act of baptizing Constantine.
