Corte Gamberedolo

Situated to the east of Castel Goffredo, on the road to Ceresara, Corte Gambaredolo is a typical Renaissance courtyard residence constructed in the early 16C by Marchese Aloisio Gonzaga and which became the holiday home of the Gonzaga family of Castel Goffredo.
Beside the Corte, in 1615, Caterina Gonzaga had the oratory of San Carlo Borromeo built in memory of the murder of her father Alfonso.
