Sermide Environmental Education Centre in the former cableway

The cableway was built by Sermide to transport materials brought by water on the River Po. Long in disuse, in the 1960s the base station became home to the Sermide rowing club but later abandoned for safety reasons.

Its current refurbishment to create an environmental education centre is part of a project to redevelop the course of the River Po within the Oltrepò Mantovano park system.
