The hermitage of San Pietro was built in Romanesque style in the 11C. Standing fairly isolated and surrounded by the Fossato Tartaro, it conserves 15C frescoes by an anonymous painter. Words on the frescoes indicate that the site has long been popular, also with foreign armies, with some dating from the Lansquenets and others from Napoleonic times. There is a nave with exposed wooden trusses and a bell-tower with four rounded two-light windows.
