From Viadana to the Bridge of Bagnolo San Vito Distance: Km 57.6

Description: The journey unfolds along the left – hand side bank of the Po river, along embankment roads with little traffic; take care at some junctions such as the Borgoforte and S. Nicolò Po.

Route conditions: The journey is not particularly difficult as it is fully on level ground; most of the road surface is asphalted, except for some stretches where it is uneven; scarcely shaded; take care at some junctions, at the Borgoforte bridge and along the busy stretches of road.

Not to be missed:
the parish Church and the Archeological Museum of Viadana; the square of Pomponesco; the water – scooping plant of S.Matteo delle Chiaviche; the boat bridge of Torre d'Oglio; the Borgoforte fortress; the view of the mouth of the Oglio river and the present interplay between the Mantua countryside and the river Po gorges.

Description: The journey unfolds along the left-hand side bank of the Po river, along the embankment roads with little traffic.

Route conditions: The itinerary is not particularly difficult as it is fully on level ground; asphalt road surface, scarcely shaded.
