Corte San Girolamo

This rural structure a few kilometres from Mantua is in the Parco del Mincio, close to an old 17C mill. Until the mid-18C, a small monastic community of the Hieronymite order lived here.

The farm surrounding the San Girolamo agritourism centre is on the edge of Mantua’s Lake Superiore and close to a cycle path that leads in one direction to the city (2.5 km away) and in the other along a pretty 40-km route skirting the banks of the River Mincio to Peschiera del Garda.

The farm’s main activities are the cultivation of cereals and fodder, all grown to the dictates of the European Community plan for agricultural products and foodstuffs farmed with low environmental impact. There are also approximately 100 fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Guests are welcome to bring their pets to these comfortable surroundings and there are five rooms for people with disabilities.
