La Pecora Nera

A small corte dating from the early 20C with a haybarn, stable and land cultivated as orchard and vegetable garden. A large park with a pond is home to ducks and geese. Courtyard animals include the black sheep after which the farm is named.

Typical local cuisine based on seasonal vegetables. Situated along the provincial Matilda trail, it also offers local excursions and walks. Open Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday lunchtimes. Monday-Thursday by reservation only and for at least 8 diners. Closed in August.
