Church of St Nicola di Bari

This church has a singular position high on a hill commanding views of Lake Garda, in the middle of the enclosure of the Gonzaga castle, of which it was originally the chapel. It is surrounded by many memories of the battle in 1859.

The current structure dates from the 17C; the interior has a coeval organ and an unexpected large Russian icon depicting the Pentecost.
