Le Sacche

A typical and recently refurbished Mantuan corte just five minutes from Mantua. The farm mainly grows cereals and fodder. In deference to the pleasures of rural life, it also has a vineyard (based on the traditional planting system), a kiwi crop, a small walnut grove and other fruit trees. There are also approximately 2km of hedgerows and 2 hectares of wooded buffer zones featuring more than 25 autochthonous arboreal and shrub species.

The corte rears numerous animals, including cattle, rabbits, hens and pigeons. The large garden comprises several vegetable types, always grown in season. For educational and play activities, there is a large room with video-projection and audio systems.
