Beatilla

This agritourism centre dates from 1498 and is in the Parco Regionale del Mincio, close to the Bosco della Fontana woodland. The latter was the Gonzaga hunting ground in the 17C and today is home to the European Home-Life Project and a National Centre for the Study and Preservation of Forest Biodiversity.

It lies on the edge of the Mantua-Peschiera cycle-path. Plenty of scope for cycling and walking. Hunting-dogs welcome. Fishing nearby and BBQ facilities.
