Church of St Maria Annunciata

The three-naved temple was expanded into its current size in 1805. Testimony of its ancient style can still be seen: the foundation stone dating back to 1416, the pointed windows and the terracotta friezes of the 1462 building. Inside we can admire valuable paintings of the School of Cremona and Mantua, the sixteenth century wooden choir stalls, the ancient christening font and the finely decorated presbytery. In the chapel of the Abbott Anthony we find the remains of the Blessed  Sisto Locatelli, zealous preacher, founder of monasteries and of the Monte di Pietà.
