WWF urban woodland

This woodland developed from the idea of reproducing a typical lowland forest in the town and restoring a microenvironment consisting essentially of native trees and shrubs. This would convey the appearance of the Po Valley centuries ago, now changed by intensive farming, housing, industry and all the transformations that have impacted on the landscape over the centuries.

The area, spread over 1.4 hectares, is owned by the municipality of Suzzara and run by the 'Po Mantovano'  WWF.
