The following directions are intended to provide an easy access route from the main local travel interchanges to the City Centre, whether your starting point is the Railway or the Bus Station.
As you leave the Railway Station, walk to the pedestrian crossing in Piazza Eugenio Leoni, and keep to the left as you walk along this even-surfaced walkway. An APAM bus service runs from this square, and services both the city area and the rest of the province.
Follow Via Ivanoe Bonomi, and remain on the left until you reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Continue walking, and Piazza Cavallotti falls on your left: first cross Via Giovanni Marangoni, then Via Arrivabene until you are facing the Teatro Sociale, then follow Corso Umberto on your left.
Keep on the left sidewalk, pass Piazza Marconi and eventually, you’ll reach Piazza Mantegna, at the very centre of the town.
