Start: the track starts in Monzambano, where you can see a beautiful XII century castle.
After getting out of Mozambano, take the avenue which passes along the cemetery and go northwards to Peschiera: the road runs through fields and trees. At  the fork, go left along the provincial road running lightly uphill to Ponti sul Mincio (km 5). Then take to Pozzolengo: you will enjoy a wonderful view of the morainal hills, while the road runs downhill through fields and small woods as far as Pozzolengo (km 10,5). Now, follow provincial road 18 towards Volta Mantovana: it goes down as far as Cantone bridge, on Fossa Redone Superiore canal, then it goes uphill again to Vecchie bridge. At the fork, turn right to Castellaro Lagusello (km 15,5). Just before arriving to the village, you have the opportunity to visit its morainal lake nature reserve.
After visiting Castellaro Lagusello, go towards Volta Mantovana and turn right at the fork; then cross the crossroads and proceed towards Campagnolo at the next fork (km 18,5). Going on, you will get to Cavriana (km 22), where you can visit Villa Mirra-Siliprandi archaeological museum and Santa Maria Romanesque church. After lunch, take towards Guidizzolo, turn left at the crossroads and you will get to Foresto (km 27,5); when you are at the church crossroads, turn left to Volta Mantovana (km 29). There, you should pay a visit to Santa Maria Assunta church and Palazzo Gonzaga-Cavriani (which is the local government building today). At the traffic lights in the main square, take to Valeggio: the road runs along Mincio valley as far as Visconti brigde, in Borghetto (km 37,5). After a short rest to admire Mincio river from above, go right to visit Borghetto village and its interesting mills. After visiting also Valeggio and Sigurtà nature reserve, a comfortable cycle track will take you back to Monzambano (km. 45) along Mincio eastern riverbank. This is where the itinerary finishes.
