This walled fortress has Guelph merlons, two-light windows and magnificent views of the lake and the surrounding countryside. Overlooking a park of tall conifers, the villa has a long history and some say that Napoleon Bonaparte stayed here.
Its noble character is reinforced by a multitude of antique furnishings, paintings, old prints, ceramics, inlaid wooden furniture, wrought-iron candelabras and ancient weapons. Opposite the villa are the two oldest houses in the town, dating from the 13C.
