Church of St. Giorgio

The present parish church dates from the first half of the 18C and is attributed to Ticino artist Giammaria Borsetti. It replaced an earlier one of the 15C.

Well-proportioned, harmonious and luminous, it is adorned with a main altar in inlaid marble and 18C pictures and frescoes by Alessandro Dal Prato, executed in 1942. The 18C sacristy is enriched with stuccowork and contains furniture and antique ceremonial objects.
