Church of St Giorgio

Constructed between 1721 and 1745, the two side wings were added in 1945 and the bell-tower in 1952. Cerlongo has had a church and bell-tower since the 13C.

The church was demolished because too small and construction commenced on a new one dedicated to St George and the Virgin Mary. The old bell-tower remained intact until the 20C, when it was demolished to make way for a new one.
