Birthplace of Tazio Nuvolari

Tazio Nuvolari is, without doubt, the most famous citizen of Castel D’Ario, a figure the locals claim as ‘their own’, giving due importance to the place where Tazio was born, attended primary school, lived for more than 20 years and met his wife.
A sign at the entrance to the town reads: Castel d'Ario birthplace of Tazio Nuvolari.
