Corte San Lazzaro

Formerly owned by Count Torelli of Montechiarugolo in the 15C, according to a description by Attilio Portioli Corte San Lazzaro “is a large farm in the parish of San Martino Gusnago… all enclosed and its walls and houses create the impression of an old fortress.”

The south corner still features a ‘guard’s lodge’ with embrasures. Fine 16C doorway and decorations in some rooms in the main house.
