Bell of Commessaggio town tower

The bell of the Torre Civica is currently in the tower of Palazzo Municipale. As far as it is known, this is the only bell of the many cast for Vespasiano Gonzaga but never melted down for the war effort. The extremely elegant bell is bronze, measures 70 cm in height and has a maximum diameter of 62 cm. The upper third features the most interesting decoration, from the top down, a band with an elegant floral frieze interspersed with eight bas-relief heads.
