The Locks on the Molinella Canal and the Mill

The Molinella Canal flows out of the Fossa di Pozzolo and winds for 45 km to the Cardinala di Ostiglia. The Fossa dei Mulini was created by banks built in the second half of the 15C and straightened in the last century. It is controlled by a system of locks dating from the second half of the 19C. The mill dates from the late 14C and became the property of G. Bertazzolo. The current appearance of the structure is the result of works in the 1920s.
