San Colombano Park (PLIS)

Founded in 1997, this was one of the first provincial local municipal park experiments. Spread over 733 hectares entirely within the municipality of Suzzara, the park extends across the flood plain between Riva and Tabellano. It has river moorings and a convenient system of flat paths connected to the main embankment and so directly to the EuroVelo system of cycle trails. The park is free and open all year round.
