Chapel of Ghisiolo

This small chapel, perhaps dating from the 17C, is dedicated to the Visitation of Mary. The altarpiece was restored in 1978. Mass is celebrated every first Saturday of the month and the rosary is recited in May. A special Mass is celebrated during the two village festivals. The chapel was restored in 1982 and 1991.

Curiously, the name Ghisiolo derives from Chiesuolo, the church or public oratory overlooking the Ghisiolo crossroads.
