Dating from the 18C, decayed and scheduled for demolition, the building stands in the birthplace of the artist Vanni Viviani, who made it the home of his dreams.
His magic was doubled, mirrored in a lake that recalls the form of half an apple, over which glide white and black swans. The doors of the house have big red apples for handles. There is a notable, elegant votive shrine at the side of the court, with a Virgin of the Apple crowned with a garland of sweet fruits in the manner of Andrea Mantegna.
