Parish Church of St. Francesco d'Assisi

The church 18C was consecrated in 1891 by the then bishop of Mantua Giuseppe Sarto, later Pope and St Pius X.

In the large presbytery, the altarpiece on the main altar dates from the 17C and commemorates St Francis, along with others of the Franciscan Order.On the balustrade are two late-17C marble statues portraying, to the right, St Lucy and, to the left, St Agnes. The main altar came from the suppressed Mantua church of the Santissima Trinità.
