Cycle route 3s and 3d left and right banks of the Secchia river

PONTE SUL SECCHIA (PRESSO SAN SATIRO) -BONDANELLO - QUISTELLO - PONTE DESTRA SECCHIA (PRESSO SANTA LUCIA) Distance: Km 30,6

Description: The circular itinerary starting and ending at the bridge over the Secchia river close to its mouth follows the right and the left banks of the Secchia river, along the embankment roads with little traffic.

Route conditions: The itinerary is not particularly difficult as it is fully on level ground; mainly dirt road,  but in good condition; scarcely shaded; take great care at junctions.

Not to be missed:
the waterworks called “tomba a sifone sul Secchia” (“siphon grave on the Secchia river “) close to S.Siro; the water plants along the route; the view of the mouth of the Secchia river and the complex irrigation network which shapes the landscape of the Oltrepò Mantovano.
