International Red Cross Memorial

It was built in the battle centenary. It hosts memories of Red Cross founder Henry Dunant, and plaques with the names of its 178 associated nations. Every 24 June, delegations from all over the world come here for the torchlight walk for peace, which reminds of Solferino and Castiglione delle Stiviere women who helped and took care of wounded combatants.
