From the car parks of either Porta Cerese or Viale Risorgimento (both of which have disabled parking spaces) continue along the right-hand side of Corso Garibaldi sidewalk.
At No. 88 you will find the main entrance of Centro Baratta; turning right toward Via Gradaro you’ll find a second entrance that is accessible to all visitors. This excellent cultural centre features a Library, Media Centre and Games Library, and also houses the Municipal History Archives. Continuing further along Corso Garibaldi, you reach Via Paolo Giacometti.
Cross it and go on until you reach Via Mario Cardone, which meets Via Trieste on its left. Go straight across Via Filippo Corridoni, Via Pietro Fortunato Calvi and Via Giuseppe Bertani as well, then turn left and stay on the sidewalk until you reach Via Dottrina Cristiana.
At number 6/A you can access the liBiblioteca Teresiana library. Keeping to the left side of Via Dottrina Cristina, which once formed the boundary of the old Jewish Ghetto, turn right into Via Giustiziati, where the sidewalk and the street run on the same level. Then turn right into Via Ardigò, keep on the right hand side until you reach the main entrances to the State Archives. The tour ends in Piazza Dante, where there is 1 disabled parking space, but note that there is also a 5-cm drop and a short section of gravel to negotiate when you get there.
Piazza Dante is home to both The National Virgilian Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts as well as The Bibiena Scientific Theatre, but note that the latter building is only partially accessible.
