Porto Mantovano lies just north of Mantua. Neo-classical Sant'Antonio parish church, by Giovan Battista Vergani, retains sacred furnitures from XVII-XVIII centuries. East of the village, here is Villa Favorita, built by Nicolò Sebregondi on the orders of Ferdinando Gonzaga, who wanted to move his court there. Not far from Sant'Antonio hamlet, you can see Corte Spinosa, an important example of XVI century Gonzaga rural residence.
