Villimpenta is a 15 square Km wide municipality, and it is close to Verona province. This is why it hosts several Veronese remains, such as Della Scala castle (XI century), on Tione river, which was recently renovated. Then, Villa Zani, which was also a Gonzaga's property for a while, and which stands in an idyllic spot, beside a small wood. Once they thought it was designed by Giulio Romano, while today it is attributed to Bernardino Facciotto and Pompeo Pedemonte. Still, you may visit the parish church (1675), the Holy Sacrament oratory (1777), Our Lady of the Snow shrine, and XVII century Villa Francioli which hosts Francioli-Nuvolari museum.
Risotto is Villimpenta main tradition, and it is celebrated every June with a festival. On Sundays, you can visit the street market.
