Horsemen, who have the privilege to discover the countryside watching from above, may enjoy unforgettable experiences such as going horse-riding alone on roads bordering canals, or setting out to a quiet excursion, meeting red herons, little egrets, wild ducks, moor-hens, coots, pheasants.
Horse-drawn –carriage is another ingenious and quiet way to move in the countryside. Moving on coaches, which are covered when it  rains, recalls travelling in the past, with hooves hitting the ground, to reach secluded destinations.
We shall not forget that for those who prefer water instead of land, some holiday farmhouses in this land of rivers and canals have interesting fishing opportunities to offer, besides boat trips and canoeing on the Mincio and the tranquil waters of Lago Superiore.
