



Typical products are the tangible heritage of unwritten but complex and rich countryside culture. Recovering ancient flavors, perfumes and tasty food is now becoming an opportunity: authenticity and tradition are strong calls for a consumer who needs more quality.
The search for tradition and typicality can also generate the rediscovery of the territory which a product and a plate belong to, thus generating tourism.
Mantuan Route of Wines and Tastes association claims to be part of that process of promotion trying to foster a strong re-training of traditional food, with the aim of preserving traditions. The products of our the land are the essential ingredients to our cuisine. For this reason, we have collaborated on the project framework to promote Morainic Area, created in 2007 by the Chamber of Commerce in Mantua with the scientific support of the Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento BEST THEME-Laboratory under the 2007 program in Region Lombardy and Chamber System for the development and competitiveness of enterprises.
